Croquet: A Sport Story at The Hayes Presidential Center, Corner Hayes and Buckland in Fremont. Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday noon-5 p.m., Closed Mondays, Sundays and Holidays.

The Hayes Presidential Center contains the most extensive collection of printed croquet material in the nation. This unique collection forms the basis for an exclusive exhibit examining the history of croquet during its 19th Century heyday. Annual Sandusky County Home and Garden Show at Fremont Recreation Complex, 600 St. Joseph St., Fremont, Friday 5-9 p.m., Saturday noon-8 p.m., Sunday 12-4 p.m.

Over 100 booths represented by local members of the Sandusky County Home Builders Association. Exhibitors will be available to answer questions about the latest in products and ideas for your home as well as the latest styles and trends represented at regional and national conferences this past fall and winter. Area financial institutions and real estate companies will be available to discuss financial concerns. There will be door prizes and a grand prize. You must be 18 to enter. The Dixie Swim Club at Fremont Community Theatre, 1551 Dickinson St, Fremont, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m. Tickets $12 seniors and students $10.

A life time of summer reunions, loves and losses. Five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships.
