Picture Share - Saturday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m.

The Crawford Park District will offer their quarterly programs Tellin' Tales and Leesville History in a combined Picture Share event. The Picture Share will be held at the Lowe-Volk Park Nature Center on Saturday, Feb. 13, beginning at 2 p.m.

This will be an opportunity to share local history and family pictures that most families have stored in attics, photo albums and scrapbooks. There will be equipment and volunteers on hand to scan your pictures and you can take them back home with you. If you have names and locations, that would be helpful but not mandatory. There will be an opportunity to talk about your pictures if you so wish. With the assistance of volunteers, we hope an on-line research photo archive can be shared with all who have Internet access and a DVD of the pictures will be made available for purchase.
