Farmers will cruise to success at commodity classic

The Commodity Classic experience will provide corn, soybean, wheat and sorghum growers with an opportunity to "cruise to success," in Anaheim, CA., March 4-6, 2010. Commodity Classic is an annual event that makes it possible for growers to reap the benefits of top-notch educational seminars and a highly-praised trade show. The Commodity Classic experience offers lasting benefits for a farmer's business operation.

Growers at the 2010 Commodity Classic are sure to benefit from the value of attending a trade show with almost 800 booths representing the equipment, technology, products and services of today's leading agricultural businesses and organizations.

"Attendees at this year's Commodity Classic can take advantage of some wonderful educational opportunities," said Commodity Classic co-chair Cal Dalton. "We've planned a full agenda of targeted programs so participants can make the most of their trip."

On March 4, Commodity Classic will kick off educational programs with an Early Riser Production Session called "Are You Treating Your Soils Like Dirt?" with speakers Brian and Darren Hefty from "Ag PhD TV". Attendees will learn about common nutrient deficiencies, when the best time is to apply fertilizer, responsible nutrient management, and how to determine which nutrients will give you the best return on investment.

Also that day, Commodity Classic will feature several pre-opening learning center sessions, including one with Michele Payn-Knoper called "Championing Agriculture: Speaking Out for Agriculture." Participants will discover the steps to creating effective public awareness campaigns that connect the farm gate to the consumer plate.

Commodity Classic will wrap up on March 6 with an "Evening of Entertainment" featuring a performance by the Grammy-award winning Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

These are just a few of the many valuable experiences in which Commodity Classic attendees will have the chance to participate.

Commodity Classic is the premier convention and trade show of the U.S. corn, soybean, sorghum and wheat industries. The event brings growers together with key decision-makers in the agricultural industry and farmer leaders from around the country for a trade show, educational sessions, cutting-edge technological demonstrations and important networking opportunities.

To take advantage of the lowest registration fee for Commodity Classic, register by the early discount deadline of Jan. 20. Go to www.commodity classic.com to register online or to find out more about this premier event for corn, soybean, wheat and sorghum growers.
