Eight members of the Liberty-Benton FFA chapter were presented with the Chapter FFA Degree.
Members receiving the degree were Ashley Currie, Zoe DeMarco, Tyler Greer, Brianna Lee, Devan Long, Amber Overmyer, Hunter Rosenberger, and Austyn Webb.
The Chapter FFA Degree is the second degree of membership in the National FFA Organization. The requirements for the degree include the following:
* The member must have received the Greenhand FFA Degree
* Have a satisfactory Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program in operation
* Must have earned and productively invested from their SAE program at least $150 or worked at least 45 hours outside of class time
* Led a group discussion for 15 minutes
* Demonstrated at least five procedures of parliamentary law
* Shown achievement in the FFA awards program
* Have a satisfactory scholastic record.
Members receiving the degree were presented with a certificate and pin recognizing their accomplishment at a local chapter meeting on March 25.
