On Jan. 26, five members of the Mohawk FFA, a satellite of Vanguard-Sentinel Career Center, participated in the County Job Interview contest, which was hosted by the Mohawk FFA Chapter.

Other schools in attendance in this event were Upper Sandusky and Carey. Students who participated in the freshman category were Lindsay Daniel, Sarah Parker and Sarah Runion.

Lindsay Daniel placed second, Sarah Parker placed third and Sarah Runion placed fourth.

In the sophomore division, Erika Coldiron placed first and Heather Daniel placing third overall.

In this contest, participants had to write a resume, prepare a cover letter, fill out a job application, go through a mock job interview, and write a follow up letter.

We would also like to thank Connie Aurand, Karen Dininger, Deb Long, and Donn Pahl for helping judge this event. Without their help the evening would have not run so smoothly. Congratulations go out to everyone involved in this contest and good luck at sub districts on Feb. 9.
